Complete dental care under one roof

At World Dental Care Centre in Amritsar, you can have almost every kind of dental treatment in one familiar place. Our team covers cosmetic dentistry, implants, root canal treatment, gum care, orthodontics, children's dentistry and dentures, so your care stays joined up from the first visit onwards.

Our founder and chief dental surgeon, Dr. Rubinder Singh, focuses on implantology and cosmetic smile design, with a strong belief in conservative dentistry. That means we try to save your natural teeth wherever we reasonably can, and only suggest more involved treatment when it is genuinely the better choice for you.

For over a decade, families across Amritsar and thousands of international patients have trusted us with their care. Whether you live nearby or are planning a visit from overseas, you can expect the same honest advice, careful hands and unhurried appointments.

Below you will find a short guide to each treatment. Every one has its own page with more detail, and your dentist will always explain your options in person before anything begins.

Our treatments

Choose a treatment to learn what it involves, who it usually suits and what to expect.

Cosmetic dentistry

Smile makeovers planned with Digital Smile Design, so you can preview the result first. Options include porcelain veneers and whitening, shaped around your facial features and lip line.

Dental implants

Biocompatible titanium implants replace missing teeth from the root up. Once they bond with the jawbone, they give you a stable, natural-feeling base for chewing and smiling. We use Nobel Biocare implants, and options range from a single tooth to a full arch.

Crowns and bridges

Crowns protect teeth weakened by decay or cracks, and bridges fill gaps left by missing teeth. Choose from Zirconia, E-max or PFM, matched to your natural shade.

Root canal treatment

Rotary endodontics and apex locators help us clean infected canals thoroughly and comfortably. When the infection is not severe, treatment can often be completed in a single visit. Saving your natural tooth is usually the first aim.

Oral surgery

Carefully planned extractions, including wisdom teeth, carried out under local anaesthesia. Imaging helps us map roots and nerves before we begin.

Metal-free crowns

Zirconia and E-max crowns combine strength with lifelike translucency. With no metal core, there is no grey line at the gum.

Preventive dentistry

Routine check-ups, professional scaling and polishing, and oral cancer screening. Small problems are found early, while they are simpler to treat. Your dentist will advise how often you should visit.

Periodontics

How we choose the right treatment for you

Two people with the same problem do not always need the same treatment. A cracked tooth might need a simple filling, a crown or, occasionally, a root canal first. A missing tooth could be replaced with an implant, a bridge or a denture. The right choice depends on your oral health, your general health, your budget and what matters most to you.

We start by understanding the whole picture. RVG digital X-rays and intraoral cameras let you see what we see, and 3D imaging is used where detailed planning is needed. We then talk you through the realistic options, including the benefits, limitations and typical number of visits for each.

Wherever it makes sense, we favour conservative dentistry: keeping as much healthy tooth structure as possible and choosing the least invasive treatment that will do the job well. You will always receive an itemised written estimate before treatment, so there are no surprises and you can decide in your own time.

If you are unsure where to start, that is completely normal. Many of our patients in Amritsar come to us with a single worry, such as a sensitive tooth or a gap, and leave with a clear, step-by-step plan they understand. There is never any pressure to start straight away.

FAQ

Treatment questions

Straight answers to what patients ask us most. Still unsure? Send us a message.

Ask on WhatsApp
Are your treatments painful?
Most treatments are carried out under local anaesthesia, so you should feel pressure rather than pain. Some tenderness afterwards is common for a few days. Your dentist will explain what to expect for your treatment and how to stay comfortable at home. If you feel anxious, tell us at the start and we will go at your pace.
How do I know which treatment I need?
Start with a consultation. Your dentist will examine your teeth, take any X-rays needed and explain the options that suit your situation, along with their pros and cons. You can then decide with full information. If you already have a diagnosis from another dentist, bring any reports and X-rays with you.
Will I get a cost estimate before treatment?
Yes. We provide an itemised written estimate before treatment begins, so you know what each part of your plan involves. Prices depend on your individual needs, so please call or WhatsApp us and we'll guide you.
Can a root canal really be done in one visit?
In many cases, yes. When the infection is not severe, the tooth can often be cleaned, sealed and protected in one sitting. More complex cases may need a second visit, and your dentist will advise.
Implant, bridge or denture: which is better?
Each has its place. Implants avoid preparing neighbouring teeth, bridges are fixed and usually quicker, and dentures can replace many teeth at once. The best option depends on your bone, gums, general health and preferences. Your dentist will explain the typical lifespan, care needs and number of visits for each option before you choose.
Do you treat children?
Yes. Our kid care service offers a gentle, calm environment, with preventive care such as sealants and fluoride, and child-friendly cavity repair. Early visits help children grow comfortable with the dentist and let us spot problems while they are still small.
Can I combine treatments, such as whitening and veneers?
Often, yes. Many smile makeovers combine several treatments. Digital Smile Design helps us plan the sequence and lets you preview the expected look before we start. Your dentist may suggest treating any decay or gum problems first, so the cosmetic work rests on a healthy base.
I am visiting from abroad. Can you plan my treatment around my trip?
Yes. We welcome international patients, who often save 60 to 80 percent compared with typical Western prices. Where possible, we plan treatment around your time in Amritsar. Send your X-rays or questions on WhatsApp and our team will suggest a realistic schedule, including healing time between stages.
