Overview
The art and science of a beautiful smile
Your smile is one of the first things people notice about you. If chips, gaps or discolouration make you hide your teeth in photos, cosmetic dentistry can improve not just your appearance but your confidence in everyday conversations, meetings and family occasions.
We combine an artist's eye for facial harmony with precise digital planning. Using Digital Smile Design, we map out your new smile on screen so you can see the likely result before any treatment begins, and suggest changes until it feels right for you.
Every makeover is tailored to your lip line, skin tone and facial structure, so the outcome looks natural rather than artificial. Dr. Rubinder Singh, our founder and chief dental surgeon, has a special interest in cosmetic smile design and personally guides the planning of smile makeovers at our Amritsar clinic.
Cosmetic work is always built on a healthy mouth. Before any veneers or whitening, we check your teeth and gums carefully and treat decay or gum problems first, so your new smile has a strong, lasting foundation. Our intraoral 3D scanner captures your teeth digitally for smile planning, without traditional impression trays.

Who it's for and signs you may benefit
Cosmetic dentistry suits many adults who are generally healthy but unhappy with how their teeth look. You may benefit if any of the following sound familiar.
- Stained or yellowing teethTea, coffee, tobacco and age can dull your teeth over time. Professional whitening or veneers can often restore a brighter, more even shade.
- Chipped or worn edgesSmall chips and uneven edges are common with time. Composite bonding or veneers can rebuild the shape in a conservative way.
- Small gaps between teethMinor spaces can often be closed with bonding or veneers. Larger gaps may be better suited to orthodontic treatment, which we will discuss with you.
- Uneven or oddly shaped teethTeeth that look too short, too pointed or out of proportion can be reshaped so your smile looks balanced.
- A gummy smileIf a lot of gum shows when you smile, gentle laser gum contouring may help frame your teeth more evenly. Your dentist will advise whether it suits you.
- Hiding your smileIf you cover your mouth when you laugh or avoid photos, a consultation is a calm, no-pressure way to understand your options.
Treatment options
Our cosmetic treatments
Most smile makeovers use one or more of these treatments. We explain the benefits and limits of each so you can decide with confidence.
Porcelain veneers
Ultra-thin, custom-made ceramic shells bonded to the front of your teeth to correct chips, gaps and mild misalignment. They are shaped to give you a bright, even Hollywood-style smile that still suits your face. A thin layer of enamel is usually prepared, so veneers are a long-term decision.
Digital Smile Design
Specialised software lets us design and preview your new smile before treatment, so you know what to expect. We use photographs and digital records of your teeth to plan tooth length, width and shape in harmony with your lips and face.
Teeth whitening
Light-activated professional bleaching safely brightens your smile by several shades in a single comfortable session. The result depends on your starting shade and the cause of the staining. Crowns, veneers and fillings do not change colour with whitening.
Composite bonding
Tooth-coloured resin is sculpted onto the tooth to repair small chips and gaps quickly and conservatively. Little or no natural tooth needs to be removed, and it is usually completed in one visit. Bonding may need polishing or touch-ups over the years.
Smile makeovers
A complete, personalised plan combining several treatments, such as whitening, veneers, crowns or gum contouring, to redesign your smile in harmony with your face. We sequence the steps so each one supports the next.
Gum contouring
Gentle soft-tissue laser reshaping of the gum line to balance a gummy smile or uneven gum heights. Lasers usually mean minimal bleeding and a comfortable recovery, and the gums typically settle within a short time.

Why choose us
Why choose World Dental Care for cosmetic dentistry
Cosmetic dentistry is as much about judgement as skill. Dr. Rubinder Singh focuses on cosmetic smile design and conservative dentistry, and he regularly attends international symposiums to keep up with new techniques. His approach is to preserve as much natural tooth as possible and to recommend only what you actually need, even if that means a simpler plan.
For over a decade, our clinic in Amritsar has cared for local families and thousands of international patients. We follow ADA/ISO sterilisation protocols, with Class-B autoclaves and disposable barriers. We use intraoral cameras and Digital Smile Design to show you what we see, and we give you an itemised written estimate before any treatment begins, so there are no surprises.
- Smile previews with Digital Smile Design
- Conservative approach that protects natural tooth structure
- Zirconia and E-max ceramics for natural-looking results
- Itemised written estimates before treatment starts
Aftercare
Caring for your new smile
A little everyday care helps your cosmetic work look its best for as long as possible.
Brush and clean daily
Brush twice a day with a soft brush and clean between your teeth daily. Healthy gums keep the edges of veneers and bonding looking neat.
Limit staining foods
Tea, coffee, red sauces and tobacco can stain natural teeth and bonding. Rinsing with water afterwards helps, and avoiding tobacco helps most.
Avoid biting hard objects
Do not use your teeth to open packets or bite pens, nails or ice. Veneers and bonding are strong but can chip under unusual force.
Wear a night guard if advised
If you grind or clench your teeth, your dentist may suggest a custom night guard to protect your new smile while you sleep.
Keep regular check-ups
Visit us for check-ups and professional cleaning as advised, usually every six months, so small issues can be spotted early.
Call us if something changes
If a veneer feels loose, a bonded edge chips or your bite feels different, call or WhatsApp us. Small problems are usually simpler to fix when they are seen early.
