Meet the doctor

Led by Dr. Rubinder Singh

Dr. Rubinder Singh is the founder and chief dental surgeon of World Dental Care Centre. He combines rigorous academic training with many years of hands-on clinical experience, and he examines patients himself and explains each treatment plan in plain language.

Dr. Singh follows a philosophy of conservative dentistry: every effort is made to save your natural teeth, using minimally invasive techniques and magnification.

His particular interests are restorative implantology and cosmetic smile design. He has placed hundreds of dental implants, helping patients regain comfortable chewing and confidence. When designing a smile, he considers your lip line, skin tone and facial structure so the result looks natural rather than artificial.

Dr. Singh regularly attends international symposiums and workshops to keep his skills current. He is a Fellow of the ICOI, recognised for his commitment to implant dentistry.

"My ultimate goal is not just to fix a tooth, but to restore a patient's confidence. When someone looks in the mirror and smiles without hesitation after years of hiding their teeth, that is why I practice dentistry."

Why patients choose us

Here is what you can expect each time you visit us, whether you come for a check-up or a complete smile makeover.

Careful sterilisation, clean air

Instruments are sterilised in Class-B autoclaves under ADA and ISO protocols. Centralised HEPA air filtration, medical-grade air disinfection and humidifiers keep the clinic air clean and comfortable.

Gentle, unhurried care

We apply a topical numbing gel before injections, explain each step with tell-show-do communication and never rush you. You stay in control throughout.

A conservative approach

Saving your natural teeth comes first. Extraction is considered only when a tooth cannot reasonably be restored, and your dentist will explain why.

Clear, written estimates

After your consultation you receive an itemised written estimate, so you know the cost before any treatment begins. No hidden fees and no surprises.

Specialists under one roof

Our team includes an endodontist, an orthodontist and a senior dental hygienist working alongside Dr. Singh, so complex cases can be managed in one place.

Convenient hours

We are open Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 2 PM and 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. We are closed on Sunday, and our 24x7 helpline is +91 81464 51500.

How it works

Your first visit

Your first appointment is about understanding your mouth and your goals. Here is what usually happens.

In-house technology

Digital dentistry, under one roof

Key equipment is right here in our Amritsar clinic, so diagnosis, design and treatment happen in one place with fewer delays and fewer visits to outside labs.

In-house lab

CAD/CAM zirconia milling

Crowns and bridges are designed on screen and milled from zirconia in our own clinic, for a precise fit without waiting on an outside laboratory.

Digital impressions

Intraoral 3D scanner

A small handheld wand scans your teeth in minutes and builds an accurate 3D model, replacing messy impression trays.

Chairside imaging

Portable digital X-ray

Images are taken right at the dental chair, so we can check each stage of a root canal or extraction quickly, with a low radiation dose.

Gentle gum care

Soft-tissue dental laser

Used for laser gum therapy and gum depigmentation, often with less bleeding and more comfortable healing than a scalpel.

Also in our clinic:

  • RVG digital radiography
  • Intraoral cameras
  • Apex locators and endomotors
  • Class-B autoclave sterilisation
  • 3D imaging for implant planning

Dental care for international patients

Many expatriates and international visitors who come to Amritsar choose to have dental treatment while they are here. We use the same premium materials, such as Nobel Biocare implants, and the strict sterilisation protocols you would expect in the USA, UK or Australia.

Giving back to our community

We see ourselves as part of the Amritsar community, not just a business. We regularly organise free dental screening camps in local schools and rural areas, where we check children's teeth and teach simple habits for a healthy mouth.

We believe a healthy smile is a basic right, not a luxury, and we hope to help raise the standard of oral health across Punjab.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to what patients ask us most. Still unsure? Send us a message.

Ask on WhatsApp
How often should I visit the dentist for a routine check-up?
For most people, we recommend a check-up and professional cleaning every six months. This helps prevent gum disease and finds small cavities early. Your dentist may suggest a different interval depending on your gum health.
Are dental implants painful?
Many patients find an implant less uncomfortable than having a tooth removed. It is placed under local anaesthesia, and some tenderness and swelling for a few days afterwards is common. Your dentist will advise you on aftercare.
I am terrified of the dentist. How do you handle anxious patients?
Dental anxiety is very common. We use tell-show-do communication, apply a topical numbing gel before any injection and never rush you. You can ask us to pause at any time.
How much do treatments cost at World Dental Care Centre?
Costs depend on the materials chosen, such as the implant brand or crown type, and on the complexity of your case. After your consultation, we give you a clear, itemised written estimate, so you know exactly what to expect before any work begins.
What should I do in a dental emergency?
If you have severe tooth pain, a broken tooth or facial swelling, call or WhatsApp our 24x7 helpline on +91 81464 51500 and we will guide you. If swelling affects your breathing or swallowing, or you have heavy bleeding or a high fever, go to the nearest hospital emergency department straight away.
How do I choose the best dental clinic in Amritsar for my family?
Look for strict sterilisation, a qualified team that covers different specialities, modern digital diagnostics and clear written estimates. At World Dental Care Centre in Rani Ka Bagh, near Mata Mandir, you get all of these under one roof, for adults and children alike.
